Eid Adha in United Kingdom

Every year, a few of the Brunei members of the Banamah clan were unable to celebrate with the families at home as they were studying overseas including in United Kingdom.

Ibadah Qurban at Banten, Indonesia

Alhamdulillah, the family of Sharifah Hajah Edah binti Sheikh Haji Umar bin Sheikh Haji Abdullah Banamah performed the ibadah sunnah qurban in the province of Banten Indonesia at the residence of Haji Abdul Rahim bin Haji Tengah (son of Sharifah Hajah Edah)'s adopted family.  May Allah Subhanu Wataala accepted the ibadah, Amin.

Note: Banten is a province of Indonesia. Bordering Jakarta, it is the westernmost province on the island of Java, and its capital is Serang. The population of Banten was officially estimated at 11,834,087 at the start of 2014, up from over 10.6 million during the 2010 census. Formerly part of the province of West Java, Banten became a separate province in 2000. The province is a transit corridor to Sumatra.
Historically, it has had a culture distinct from the rest of Java and that of the broader Indonesian archipelago. In recent years, however, the northern half, particularly those areas near Jakarta and the Java Sea coast, have experienced rapid rises in population and urbanization, while the southern half, particularly that facing the Indian Ocean, maintains more of its traditional character.

Ibadah Qurban in Gaza

Allah also says: (To every people did We appoint rites (of sacrifice) that they might celebrate the name of Allah over the sustenance He gave them from animals (fit for food). But your God is One God: Submit then your wills to Him (In Islam): and give thou the good news to those who humble themselves.) (Al-Hajj 22: 34)

“This is the true end of sacrifice, not propitiation of higher powers, for Allah is One, and He does not delight in flesh and blood, but a symbol of thanksgiving to Allah by sharing meat with fellow humans. The solemn pronouncement of Allah's name over the sacrifice is an essential part of the rite." (Yusuf Ali commentary)

Allah says further: (It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for His guidance to you: And proclaim the Good News to all who do right.) (Al-Hajj 22: 37)

Alhamdulillah, apart from performing the ibadah qurban at home country, some members of the Banamah Family have also perform the sunnah rite in Gaza, Palestine.  We pray to Allah Subhanu Wata'ala that these ibadahs be accepted. Amin.

After what's the children of Gaza had to endure in the onslaught by the Zionists, the smiles on their faces on receiving the meat were priceless!! ALLAH AKHBAR, ALLAH AKHBAR ALLAH AKHBAR, WALILLAHILHAM.

Warning: some photos show blood.
