Farewell, Au Revoir - Study Smart Harith Zainal Abadin

Harith Zainal Abadin left for UK last night 22nd September to continue his study at Birmingham University. Harith is youngest son of Hajah Siti Hani Haji Abdul Latif (daughter of Sharifah Hajah Sino binti Sheikh Haji Umar Banamah) and Haji Zainal Abadin bin Haji Ahmad. Bidding farewell at the Brunei International Airport were Sharifah Hajah Sino, parents and members of the family.

Best Wishes and Au Revoir Siti Fatimah Azzahraa' Anas

Siti Fatimah Azzahraa' Haji Mohammad Anas (grand daughter of Sharifah Hajah Sino binti Sheikh Haji Umar Banamah) left for the United Kingdom in the early evening of 17th September 2015.  She'll be pursuing her final year of study in BSc Bio-Chemistry at Baths Univeristy. A Yayasan Scholar, she is joined by her sisters Dr. Siti Aishah - who is attending her Core Medical Training at Sheffield Hospital and Siti Nur Qistina, a final year student at Bradford University doing BSc Occupational Theraphy.

Wishing A Blessed and Mabrur Haj

Alhamdulillah, one of our favorite aunties from Singapore, Mak Cik Zaharah of Jurong is now in Saudi Arabia performing the Haj.  We were informed the flight to Jeddah from Singapore departed on 14 September 2015. Our prayers to Allah Subhana Wataala for her to be granted the best of health and a Mabrur Haj (a Haj that is accepted by Allah Subhana Wataala). Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.

We would like to wish Muhammad Afiq Al-Haeem bin Haji Abdullah bin Haji Tengah (great grandson of Sheikh Haji Umar bin Sheikh Haji Abdullah Banamah) a succeesful final year of study (BSc Mathematics) at Southampton University, UK. Afiq left for UK last night (15 September 2015).

Family Bereavement - Haji Ahmad bin Jaafar

It is with sadness to infrom that Haji Ahmad bin Jaafar, father of Haji Zinal Abadin bin Haji Ahmad, father of in-law of Hajah Siti Hani Haji Abdul Latif (daughter of Sharifah Hajah Sino binti Sheikh Haji Umar bin Sheikh Haji Abdullah Banamah) passed away last evening 14 September 2015 at 10.00 pm. at the age of 92. May Allah blesses his soul and places him with His servants in the Jannah. Al Fatiah. Amin.

Bon Voyage Siti Nur Qistina and Wishing You a Very Successful Final Year at Bradford Univesity, UK

Siti Nur Qistina binti Haji Mohammad Anas left for United Kingdom last night (Friday 4th September 2015) from Brunei International Airport. Insya Allah, Siti Nur Qistina will complete her final year in BSc (Honours) Occupational Therapy at Bradford University around Mid 2016.

Wedding Day - Sri Wedary and Aryan Adrian Abdullah

Alhamdulillah, we have received some pictures taken earlier today in Banting, Labuan during the wedding of Sri Wedary and Aryan Adrian Abdullah. Hopefully, we would be able to get some more photos of the happy event.

The Majlis Berinai, a Malay wedding custom of placing hyena on the bride and bridegroom finger tips was held in the evening of 4th September 2015.



Majlis Akad Nikah - Marriage Solemnisation Ceremony for Sri Wedary

Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah Subhanahu Wataala for with his blessing we witnessed the happy occasion of the marriage solemnization of Sri Wedary, daughter of Haji Muali and Hajah Munah (who is the eldest daughter of Sharifah Hajah Gayah binti Sheikh Haji Umar) and Aryan Adrian Abdullah at the bride's residence at Banting, Labuan, Malaysia. The ceremony took place at 10 am of Friday, 4th September 2015.



Orbituary - Abdul Hamid bin Ibrahim

It is with great sadness to announce the passing away of one of our uncles in Labuan, the late Abdul Hamid bin Ibrahim. Abdul Hamid also known as Pak Long and Pak Cik Thamby was the eldest son of Sharifah Raidah binti Sheikh Haji Abdullah Banamah.  He passed away in the early morning of Friday,   4th September 2015 and the funeral was held around 9 am on the same day. May Allah continuously showers his blessing to our belated uncle, Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.

He was a gentle giant with passion for fishing during his younger days. Pak Long Hamid is survived by a wife.
